EVENT DATE - 13 MAY 2012
A new event on the Knysna Speed Festival calendar this year is the 4x4 Challenge which takes place on 13 May 2012. This competition will cater for standard production vehicles and semi-modified vehicles which will tackle a series of obstacles, time trials and a progressive obstacle. A number of 4x4 clubs have been invited to bring along some of their Extreme Modified 4x4 vehicles to entertain spectators during breaks to promote the sport, as it is our aim to include them in next year's competition. Prizes are on offer to competitors.
The 4x4 Challenge will be held at Denron Quarry on the R339 (Knysna to Uniondale road). The venue is ideally situated for spectators to view the event with ample parking available. Motoring related stalls and drinks and refreshments will be available at the venue.
