The all-important qualifying runs for Classic Car Friday have commenced, and the top contenders remain largely unchanged with Franco Scribante topping the timesheets on 42.017 seconds, and Ian Schofield 0.8 sec adrift on 42.842 seconds – half a second off his winning time from last year.
The issue with Andre Bezuidenhout’s car was resolved he was back in action for Q1, posting a time of 43.077 seconds, followed by Charles Arton (46.943 sec), Rui Campos (47.933 sec), James Temple (48.688 sec) and Clive Corder (49.074 sec).
