Qualifying has wrapped up for Classic Car Friday, determining the top three competitors in each class who will make it to the Class Finals, based on their best time from the three qualifying runs. It also decides the contenders that will make it to the thrilling all-or-nothing Top 10 Shootout, which will ultimately crown the Classic Conqueror for 2026.
Franco Scribante posted his fastest time ever in the Chevron B19 on 41.107 seconds, setting an impressive benchmark and entrenching his dominance of the event thus far. Ian Schofield also went quicker, ending his qualifying challenge on 41.413 seconds, with Andre Bezuidenhout remaining in third on 42.516 seconds.
The balance of the overall top 10 times for Q3 were James Temple in fourth, followed by Reghard Roets, Mike Mcloughlin, Rui Campos, Nikki Vostanis, Josh Dovey and Robert Wolk.
