Things are starting to get serious for the Classic Car Friday competitors with the completion of the first qualifying session. The fastest times from all three qualifying rounds will determine who makes it into the respective Class Finals and the all-or-nothing Top 10 Shootout this afternoon.
Franco Scribante stamped his authority on Q1 with his quickest run so far on 42.438 seconds, but Andre Bezuidenhout is hot on his heels just 0.064 sec off his pace. The running order remains unchanged from the practice sessions with Charles Arton leading Riu Campos, Ian Schofield, Robert Wolk (1979 Van Diemen RF Formula Ford) and James Temple (1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe).
