Robert Wolk had a clean run in Qualifying 2 to put the fastest time on the board of 35.891 seconds in the Gould GR55. In the single-seater category (Class C) Devin Robertson went more than a second quicker in the Radical Pro Sport from Q1 (39.971 sec), with Ian Schofield placed third, 0.9 sec quicker in his Formula Ford (41.903 sec).
In Class B for Modified Saloon Cars, Pieter Zeelie retained the top position in his Toyota MR2 (39.115 sec), 0.4 sec off his Q1 time. Franco Scribante was less than four-hundredths adrift of Zeelie on his run in the Nissan R35 GT-R (39.150 sec), with Silvio Scribante going 0.2 sec quicker in third in the Audi RS3 (39.529 sec).
The status quo continues in Class A for Road Cars and Supercars, as Clint Weston fastest on 42.763 seconds, half a second off his Q1 time. Cristiano Verolini retained second place in the BMW M4 (44.526 sec), also slightly slower than the earlier session. Leyton Fourie ended third in the BMW M2 (45.740 sec) after Jens Klingmann’s time of 45.067 seconds was deleted for a track limits violation.
